For Paddy Lightfoot, the joy of gardening lies in not just seeing what grows but what is attracted by the plants.

Paddy, a long-time volunteer at Hunter Wetlands Centre, has watched the number of birds grow as the plants have.

The ABC’s Scott Bevan is shown around a garden at the wetlands centre by Paddy, who uses a whole lot of ‘F’ words to point out what attracts our feathered friends.
