Hunter Wetlands Centre is a not-for-profit, self-funded, community owned and operated organisation. Your entry fees are essential to help maintain this remarkable wetland haven for both wildlife and people. We're open from 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm. Please note we will be closed from the 22nd of December and reopen on the 2nd January to give our volunteers a much deserved break

4 to 15 years: $6

General Entry
16 years and over: $9.50
Concession Cards & Students: $6
Family (2 x General Entry + 2 Children or 1 General Entry + 3 Children) $25
Group (10 persons & over): $7 each
Carers assisting disabled (carers card required) : Free
Membership (Annual Pass included): $25

Opening Hours

We are open daily from 9am to 4pm (last entry at 3pm.) The cafe is open from 9.30am to 2pm 7 days a week.
We are closed some public holidays including Anzac Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Ring or keep an eye on our socials for information on other public holidays.

Accessibility

The Hunter Wetlands Centre has a number of accessibility features for people with mobility challenges, we aim to be as inclusive as possible.

  • Sealed disability parking and set down zone
  • Lift to ground level from the visitor centre
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Ramp access to the meeting rooms
  • Guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome.
