Our 45-hectare site is largely natural bushland, and most of our trails and paths are unsealed. A small number of sealed paths connect the main visitor areas around the Visitor Centre, café, and key attractions.
Some areas of the site include uneven terrain which may be challenging for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. We recommend speaking with staff on arrival about the most suitable routes for your needs on the day.
Our wheelchair accessible buggy tour is the best way to explore the wider site if walking the unsealed trails is not suitable for you — please see the Buggy Tours section below for details. Please note that we do not currently offer wheelchair hire on site. If you require a wheelchair, please bring your own.
We offer guided buggy tours of the wetlands, making it easy to explore the full site without needing to walk the trails. Our buggy is wheelchair accessible, so visitors who use a wheelchair can join the tour comfortably. Buggy tours are a great option for visitors with limited mobility, older visitors, or anyone who wants a more relaxed way to take in the wetlands.
