Windows on the Wetlands is a wonderfully diverse exhibition by the Newcastle Printmakers Workshop and Ceramicists
Newcastle Printmakers Workshop is the longest running open access printmaking workshop in Australia situated in Adamstown. It has strong ties to the local Newcastle community including Hunter Wetlands.
This exhibition is the culmination of a small group of members spending time at the Wetlands over the last 18 months. They have created artworks that reflect the biodiversity of the Wetlands in a range of printmaking techniques.
Ceramicists Jenepher Surbey & Juliet Ackery join the printmakers bringing 3D elements to this exhibition. Their work reflects their love of colour, texture and textiles and provides a rare opportunity to see some of their recent work.
