Ever wondered what kind of bird is that? Can you tell a kookaburra from a cuckoo? Did you know a group of Spoonbills is called a bowl?
Grab a pair of our kids-size binoculars (or bring your own) and join Bob and Margaret from the Hunter Bird Observers Club (HBOC) on a bird walk around our wetlands.
Learn fascinating facts about our feathery friends, find out what kinds of birds visit our wetlands and how to use binoculars - and your ears - to spot them. With so many birds in our ponds and trees during summer you'll be an expert birder in no time!
