Art Exhibition: Ash McIntyre

"Quiet Kingdoms" is an exhibition inspired by Australia's flora and fauna. Blending realism with imagination, Newcastle-based illustrator, Ash McIntyre's intricate, layered illustrations celebrate the wonder of the natural world and invite viewers of all ages to slow down, peer closely, and imagine the hidden stories unfolding within the environments that surround us.

The exhibition also features 4 watercolour works by artist Les Peterkin OAM. While Les' renowned artistic career has primarily focused on ceramics, since his retirement he has extended his artistic skills to the mediums of watercolour, acrylics and oils. In this exhibition he approaches his life long interest in Australian birdlife through his more recently acquired medium of watercolour.
